The London Quest Company was commissioned by ECA international, the HR specialists, to provide entertainment at their Christmas party.

Objective

ECA International booked their Christmas party at 30 Pavilion Road, formally a grand Georgian pumphouse in the heart of Knightsbridge.  In addition to the standard package of a champagne reception, three course meal and a disco, having enjoyed the services of London Quest before, ECA commissioned us to add a little drama to the evening’s proceedings.  The brief was to provide entertainment touching on the classic Murder Mystery format. 

The Quest

As the partygoers arrived at the venue, they were greeted by a chilled glass of bubbly and a host of Georgian characters.  The guests mingled amongst their colleagues, soaking in the grand location; as they mingled, the braver guests sparked up conversation with the characters who gladly reciprocated. 

During the course of the evening, the revellers enjoyed a brief encounter in a lift with a Lady of the Night, a desperate search for a lost letter hidden in one of the many library books, and the tragic death of a young workhouse boy. Over dinner, it was the guests’ task to pinpoint the guilty party and their motive for perpetrating a heinous crime.  Was it the cold and distant father, the cruel and self-centred Lady of the House or was it a simple case of suicide?  As the diners concluded their meal, the actors played out the nfortunate
series of events and prizes were awarded to the Questers that came closest to the truth.
