Case Study: Creative Events
A new idea

We work in a world where the creative delivery of events is crucial in order to grasp people’s attention. We provide informative and entertaining hospitality in an exciting and novel way.

London Quest provides the perfect vehicle to achieve this by using interactive theatre that leaves your guests questioning the boundaries between reality and fiction.

For stand-up receptions, networking events, hospitality evenings or any kind of presentation, London Quest create original solutions that never fail to impress.

Previous Examples:

Event Aim:

To add non-intrusive, light entertainment that worked on two levels: firstly, as an ice-breaker by providing a talking point between the delegates and also to highlight the exhibition currently showing at the chosen venue, London’s Design Museum.

The Story:

Architecture and Fashion have long had a relationship of both flirtation and distrust, but, on the 20th May 2008, the two disciplines will combine to create a piece of work that is neither one nor t’other.

The alliance aims to create a fusion of architecture and beauty to design a masterpiece that will sit on the 4th Plinth in Trafalgar Square.

The Performance:

Actors moved around the room, playing characters from the Richard Rogers Practice and apprentices to the great fashion photographer Tim Walker. (Both exhibitions on at the Design Museum at the time of the event). The actors were talking with guests about the creation for the 4th Plinth, involving them in pictures for the plinth and describing the work of art, however little did they know another actor working under the alias of James Steel was not entirely happy about the piece and managed to steel the apprentices camera planting it on the MD of London Launch, who was then arrested at the end of his speech by a police officer (actor) who was waiting in the wings.

Feedback:

‘I wanted to personally touch base and thank you individually for all the work, time and effort you and your team put into last night’s event which made everything possible.  All your staff were fantastic and a great asset to the event!  Tim’s short speech was ideal and it finalised the scene very well I thought.’

Event Aim:

To promote 30 Pavilion Rd at an event that they were hosting for the PA club.

The Brief:

The brief was to create an unforgettable event and leave a lasting impression of the venue, on the clients. The clients were guests, attending a networking evening, organised by the exclusive PA Club.

30pavilion

Our actors re-created scenes of how life might have been at 30 Pavilion Rd when it first opened century’s ago. (Obviously with a London Quest spin)

The Performance:

Lord Snitterton scrutinised his guests talking with bankers, about the strange concept of giving your money to someone else to look after (very appropriate in the current climate). He proceeded to show off his glorious library, staircase and even managed to persuade Angela Mortimer, (Angela Mortimer Recruitment Agency), that he was really a Lord and owned the building!

His scallywag of a nephew became more and more inebriated as the evening passed, lurching on the women, reciting poetry from the period and telling wild stories of country pursuits. He was also spotted by many of the guests holding a silver candlestick which turned out later to be a crucial piece of evidence.

Two 19th Century Peelers (the first uniformed Police) were keeping an eye on proceedings providing security for all the guests, but were unable to prevent the murder of an unfortunate servant boy who ended up dead in front of the podium. The boy’s lover and colleague, the maid, was too late to save him.

The actors performed interactive theatre while the guests mingled not only helping break the ice between guests, but put smiles on the guests’ faces as they talked up the venue, food, but most importantly the hospitality.

Feedback:

Just a short note to say a very big thank you, to all your team for yesterday evening. We have lots of great feedback from yesterday evening and we appreciate the help that you gave.
