3. Deceit, debauchery and Drama – The South Bank

The tour will start at the Tate modern where the architects discuss the structure, the turbine hall and the museums representation of Urbanity. Moving to the Millennium bridge, and its history of instability. The globe is brought to life by the bard and the Kings Men, monologues from some of Shakespeare famous plays are recited. The history of the debauchery, The Clink Prison and the Bishop of Winchester’s role in it all. The group will continue on past Southwark Cathedral, learning the story of St Mary Ovary and the oldest river crossing.
