Beyond the Pale

Working with JMK Award-winning Director, Jamie Harper, London Quest developed and produced Beyond the Pale at The Southwark Playhouse.

Described as a ‘coup of the form’ in a four-star review from The Times, the play, which ran for three weeks, invited audience members to interact with the actors and shape their own journey through the narrative.

As participants navigated their way through the wasteland we created in the cavernous railway arches behind the main
performance space, they were challenged to make difficult decisions regarding each of the characters’ future; being bestowed with such responsibility we were able to strengthen the audience-character relationship and, therefore, deepen the audience’s level of engagement with the piece.
