Children’s PartyLondon Quest design their interactive treasure hunts for children as well as adults. Take for example the Quest that we designed for Lizzie Osborn. The Osborn family asked for a Quest to celebrate their daughters 13th birthday. They asked for a Quest that would incorporate ‘a who dunnit’ style ending, adventure and competition between the girls. The Osborn Quest The girls all congregated at the Osborn house early on a Saturday afternoon, as they arrived they were ushered into the living room. Once they were all seated there was a sudden commotion the girls looked up. Through the window they saw a man, nervously looking in, he cried out for their help and asked to come in, they let him in. It soon became apparent that the man was no other than famous Pop producer Buzz Allen. Buzz quickly explained his position, he had been promoting a new band called Pop, but had been forced to withdraw them, from ITV hit show Britain’s Got Talent, after remarks made by Simon Cowell had put their future in the competition in jeopardy. This action had created quite a stir and ITV producers, Simon Cowell and the fans of the band were not happy about the actions of Mr Allen. Allen had received threats in the post and he was now nervous that there might be an attempt on his life. No sooner as he had finished explaining the situation a masked assailant entered the room, the girls screamed and dived for cover, Buzz looked scared the assailant grabbed him and dragged him out of the house. The girls looked stunned. Unsure of what to do next they ventured outside only to be met by a Police Officer. The girls were given all the information that the Police had. Then the Officer divided the girls into three teams and explained their motivation for the afternoon, they were to help find the Buzz Allen and his assailant. The teams searched for clues in a local wood, found the Police officer diving for clues in the Thames, pulled a map from the river and then located a body in the woods. The body was that of Buzz Allen. They searched the body for more clues and found contact numbers and email address of associates of Mr Allen. They quickly returned to the house and got on to the internet, here they delved deeper into the mystery. They found several potential suspects to the murder, the two girls from Pop, Simon Cowell himself and a former band member angry at being dropped from the band. After piecing together all the evidence they then came to their conclusions. They finally worked out that the crucial piece of evidence was a piece of material ripped from a girls dress. The dress belonged to Violet Ryder of Pop, the girls read out an email explaining the reasons for the murder. Violet Ryder, of Pop, had become angry at being pulled out of the show and no longer had faith in Buzz. They got rid of him! The party took the girls 2 hours to complete and the winners celebrated with a glass of Pop (soft drink). Feedback – Sally Osborn – Lizzie’s Mum. We wanted to say to you both again what an absolutely amazing time the girls (and adults) had. We haven't been able to stop talking about it. Lizzie and her friends said that they would never forget it.
