For The Harry Red Affair

“I would just like to thank all of those at the London Quest Company for giving myself and my friends such a great experience. The Harry Red Affair took us across London by train, car and occasionally on foot, and really brought out my competitive streak! The mixture of live actors with pre-placed clues kept all of us involved and excited about where the next clue would lead – a thoroughly enjoyable day! - Highly recommended.”

“LQC, I am much obliged to you for such a romping good laugh, I haven’t enjoyed an escapade such as this for many a season. It was most refreshing to meet a jocular troupe able to plan a wheeze both fastidious and effervescent; surely not an easy task in a city as potbellied as London! Our day had wit, vim and intrigue, not for a minute did we rest.  I sincerely offer you my best wishes in all your future endeavours, though I suspect you will not need them!”

For The Alex Coates Affair

I met up with my group at a tube station, by which time all my members of the group were well into character and clue hunting! I walked straight past them as they were all wearing wigs and costumes.. it was one of the funniest days in London I have had experiencing much I had not before, from the rabbit warrens of the Barbican to the restaurant in the Tate Modern, it was superbly organized. The highlight of the day was racing the other teams in rowing boats on the Serpentine in Hyde Park to collect a clue from the island, and finally finishing up at a pub named after a member of currency UK (in last place!) it was hysterical, and well worth it. A huge amount of effort was put into executing the plans of the day and making sure that everything went to plan.. well worth the effort of the organizers as we had a great time.

For The Arthurian Legend

So we were set the task of filming a documentary surrounding the myth of the Arthurian legend in deepest, darkest Devon.  Being a creative type (I work in advertising) I loved the fact that my group and I were able to personalise our story in such a way that we would be rewarded at the end of the day.  Running around Cornwall, seeing the sites whilst at the same time looking on aghast as friends and acquaintances were driving past us in the opposite direction was a real thrill.  Whether we were searching for bottles of rum on a deserted beach or chasing pirates for clues around local Cornish pasty shops the day was never dull.  I'm not a hugely competitive person but there was something about the day which was so addictive and compulsive that you found yourself egging your team on to complete the task first and in the most stylish way!  The fact that we were furnished with clues, props and beers along the way and a three course dinner at the end was a bonus.  Finishing the night with an awards ceremony for our documentaries was the icing on the cake, and as we won 'Best Film' it was also a just reward.
Highly recommended!"
